HR Recruitment for a Frozen Food Manufacturer

CHALLENGE

Staff HR was approached by a frozen food manufacturer that had a Human Resources position open due to internal movement within the department.

The company was also dealing with a high turnover rate of over 200 people in the manufacturing and administration staff. They began to recruit for the position but they were unable to find the right candidate. The company then decided to contact StaffHR for recruiting support.

SOLUTION

Our staff met with the manufacturer and they explained that they wanted the candidate to start within a three-week period, so both the client and StaffHR concurrently recruited for the position.

During the candidate-sourcing phase, StaffHR was able to uncover a candidate that the company had already passed over because they misinterpreted several of the candidate's titles/experiences in previous positions. StaffHR explained that we had already interviewed the candidate and thought they would be a great fit for the position.

The manufacturer scheduled several interviews, including the person we strongly recommended, and within three weeks we filled the position with the person they had initially passed on.

RESULTS
